Good morning to everyone!

 I figure it has been some time now since I have written a newsletter to you all so I decided today is the day for many reasons.

The biggest reason I decided to do it today is because last night well actually this morning around 12:30 my now 3 year old woke up screaming like someone hurt him. So I ran in and said “Whats wrong what is going on?” He said “There is a boogie in my nose!”  Crying the entire time. I was laughing inside but on the other side saying “Learn to BLOW your nose so I can get some sleep” well we took care of that then around 3:30 it started all over again.

 I swear I had just gotten back to sleep….but dragged myself out of bed and went in and this time it was much worse. he said: “there is a monkey jumping on my bed and he was loud and he jumped and the light came on” and it just went on and on and on as fast as he could talk!  He was shaking really bad and then I realized he was burning up! He wanted to go in our bad he was so scared of this monkey dream he did not want to sleep in his bed anymore. Anyhow I took him to bed he placed his feet on daddy and he said WOW He is like an oven! I got him Tylenol and took his temp which was 103. My husband then got up to go to work at 4 and I had to hear “I dont want my daddy to leave I want you both to stay here.”

The reason I tell you this story is because as I laid there with him till 6 when he finally went back to sleep and the fever broke I was thanking the Lord for my business working from home. If it were not for it I would have had to call in sick for the day to whatever job I may have to tend to my son OR take him wherever sick and hope that he makes it through the day. (which I would never do but know sometimes you have to do what you have to do) 

So with that I ask you this question.  “Is your future worth $40.00 a month?” Think about that really hard. If you said yes then let me get you started in our business today so you can start building up your business now so you to can eventually live your life staying home working, PT/FT, with your kids, Grandparents, Parents, Pets whatever. Is it worth it?? I know it is to me and my plan is to someday have daddy here right beside us as well.

What a testimonial!

Well the sun is starting to pop out here in Pa so I am going to do my thing for the day then take my kids out to play! Nothing like fresh air to help a little guy feel better.

My favorite way to advertise is one we all do and that is scent samples. Crush up a few of your votives each month and place in the little zip lock bags you can get from Wal-Mart or any of the locations listed on the free to relax forum.  Print out what scent it is attach your business card to it and leave it everywhere you go. Some places I leave them are.

1.      Public bulletin boards. Places that I have found that have these are:

         a. Grocery stores

      b. Car wash

      c. Laundry mat

      d. Donut shops

      e. Tape to the ATM

      f. Restaurants

      g. Library

2.      With restaurant menus. (How many restaurants in your area have the menus on the table?? Well if so put a scent sample in one or two of them for the next person who comes to that table.)

3.      Leave one with your tip

4.      Place in your library books before returning them they will think it was a book marker.

5.      Put them on the sinks in public restrooms.

6.      Place in newspaper boxes (NOT MAIL BOXES)

7.      Ebay packages. I sell on ebay so each package gets a sample and biz card.

My next way I advertise is by joining Yahoo groups. Do a search for topics that you think will have people interested in what we have to offer such as MLM, WAHM, Work from home and any type of keyword that you can think of that will have people interested in our company.   There are many out there. When you get to them go in and introduce yourself and invite them to enter your FREE contest on your site. That candle drawing the company has for us is wonderful and can be used in so many ways.

My favorite yahoo group I have joined is The Mom pack the mom pack is a very informative group of moms who work from home.  Join their mom pack yahoo group for link exchanging and filler exchange. Filer exchange is where moms exchange their business cards, samples, pencils etc. then place them in what they call “mom Packs” with many others and hand them out at their events they attend. This is done all over the USA so you will really get your name out there.

Next set up your signature in your emails. Whether you are on AOL, or People pc, it does not matter they all should have an area where you can do this. You can even do it in your yahoo goggle and hotmail accounts. This way when you respond to another person’s mail or group post they will always see your signature and possibly click on it. Change it from time to time so it will never be the same old thing they are used to seeing.

When I say change it you can change from your name and site address to enter my free candle contest with your address, or Love candles, know someone who does? Visit www.whatever.com . Use your imaginination and go with it.

Make T-shirts!  If you don’t have a company shirt you can go buy a nice shirt and t-shirt transfers which you print your info on and wear it when you go out. We have one made for each family member and when we went to the beach this past weekend we took them along and everyone wore theirs at some point during our stay.  Hunter even has one. He gets the most attention so I should wear it on him all the time!!

Buy the ABC stickers at Wal-Mart in the hardware department and place your address on the back of your car window.

Next join forums. They are everywhere you go any more. Join them and advertise your candle drawing on them just like you do in the groups. Someone is sure to fill that out and you will get people who click that they are interested in purchasing product or selling.

Next make a my Space account they have forums and classifieds on them as well where you can again advertise your contest as well.

If you have a website which you can ad links to do a separate page on it and “link exchange” with others who work from home on your site. Send the person who wants to exchange with you either your link alone or the Scent sations banner located in your back office.

Do a free classified search and you will get all kinds of them that come up where you can advertise.

Another location to place ads is on Craig’s list.com it is free.

My last thing I recommend is make sure you submit your site weather it be your personal site or your splash page to search engines. Some of the top search locations are.

1.      Google

2.      Froogle

3.      Yahoo

4.      Msn

5.      Dmoz.org
